How to display the day of the week in the Windows 7 time bar

Windows 7's default "date bar" only displays time and year, month, and day, and no week information. However, it is not difficult to display the day of the week in the taskbar time zone of Windows 7. There is no need for gadgets or third-party software.
Click on the time zone of the taskbar, click “change the date and time settings>;

click again“change the date and time";

and click“ Change calendar settings  ;

In the Custom Format window, switch to the “Date” tab and make the following changes in the date format bar: Enter “dddd ddMMM&rdquo in the short date (S) drop-down box ;

Windows uses a short date by default; of course, you can also change the format of the long date, and type "lddd; dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy" in the long date drop-down box. The last step by step click “OK” Exit is fine.
