Analysis: MED-V(2) of IE virtualization under Windows7

        What exactly is MED-V?

MED-V provides an application instance on a virtual machine, so you can run an earlier version of the operating system, such as Windows XP or Microsoft Windows 2000. As shown below:

The picture is: MED-V application example

MED-V is built on the top of the Windows virtual PC, so that you can run two operating systems on one device. Increase virtual image delivery, rule-based provisioning, and centralized management. From the user's point of view, these applications can be accessed directly from the standard desktop start menu and appear simultaneously with the local application, so the change to the user experience is minimal.

MED-V virtualization is a more complex solution because it requires a server and client computer at the same time. The resources required by this IE instance are on the client computer side, but the server still requires resources for the host virtual device and policy. Despite the complexity, MED-V is also the most stable of several virtualization solutions.
