Windows 7 automatic backup settings diagram

Windows 7 automatic backup is also called scheduled backup. I wrote a Windows 7 backup and restore settings and usage points before. I haven't introduced the backup and restore functions. I looked at it last night and I still feel some problems, so I put the original. The article is divided into two articles, respectively, respectively, to introduce the backup and restore content of Windows 7. The previous article has been liked to collect, pseudo-original, regular replacement, remove the link, the whole smoke of the smoke, no intention to modify, so simply rewrite These two parts. This article first introduces the scheduled backup of Windows 7, and later I will introduce the recovery problem of Windows 7, so that the logic is more clear, and everyone can read it.
We know that there are many differences between Windows 7 system protection, image protection and scheduled backup (backup restore: Windows 7 system protection, system image and planned backup difference). System protection Because of the content and focus of protection, the footprint is relatively small, and the creation of images and scheduled backups is much larger. I introduced the system protection settings and usage methods of Windows 7 before. This article looks at the automatic backup settings.
1. Windows 7 Automatic Backup Setup Wizard
1. Open System Backup and Restore
Settings to open “Control Panel”-"<quo;System and Security>-"  Backup and Restore" ;, as shown below:

This is the default setting state of the system, and automatic backup is not enabled. In the above figure, in addition to creating a system image and a system repair disk, the backup column on the right side will open the scheduled backup content.
2, select settings backup
choose to save the backup location, if you want to set up automatic backup files containing non-system disk, then the save location can not be the drive, here the demo is saved in the D drive, click Next.

Of course, you can also save to a network location, requiring the operating system of the network client to be one of the Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise editions. You may need to enter a username and password. In addition, it can be saved to a USB flash drive, but the USB flash drive is not allowed to save the system image, and only some modified files can be saved. This should be one of the Microsoft anti-piracy strategies.
3, choose the backup method
as shown below:

There are two options here, respectively, "Let Windows choose" and "Let me choose "“:
let Windows Select —— Windows Select will only back up your own stuff (including a system disk image), as well as libraries, desktops, etc. If the library is on a network drive, it will not be backed up. There are also files that are not backed up, such as files in the FAT file system partition, files in the recycle bin, and temporary files under the 1G drive.
Let me choose —— I can manually configure the specific content of Windows 7's scheduled backup, as shown below, which is actually the default content for Windows to choose.
4, set automatic backup content

Manually configure the backup content, you can choose the other local drive folder below, such as your own work files also participate in automatic backup, so if the data loss occurs during the work process, you can also Recover from automatic backups (the system protection described earlier may also be available for recovery).
The system image selection including the drive is not too big for the backup result image. Although the system disk is large, it only takes up a lot of space when it is created for the first time. It is the first time to back up all the time during a backup period. This is followed by an incremental backup.
5, automatic backup plan to confirm
This is the last step, as shown below:

The default backup is performed on a weekly basis, you can configure the automatic backup cycle through the change plan in the above figure, you can Whether the setting is daily backup or weekly backup, the specific time can be as follows, as shown below:

After the configuration is completed, click Save Settings and run the backup. The subsequent backup settings can be modified at any time. The plan backup results are as follows:

After backup, you can see the green arrow and CD icon in the backup disk, as shown below (the test-PC on the left side is the data file backup result, right side) WindowsImageBackup is the result of the image backup), double-click this icon to restore. The specific restoration method, participate in the topic article later in the Tianyuan, and later put together several restoration methods.

Our daily restore files can be operated here, or you can right-click on the backup file or folder to select "Previous version" to restore.
Second, how to cancel and delete the scheduled backup
If you do not like the automatic backup plan, you can also stop or delete at any time, but if you delete the above folder directly, you may not be able to delete, because MediaID.bin is occupied Status, you can try the following methods.
1, stop automatic backup
There is a disabling plan on the left side of the above backup and restore, you can temporarily stop the plan, just temporarily stop, you can also enable it at any time.
2, delete automatic backup
If you want to completely delete the automatic backup plan, restore to the same interface as before, you can do the following, in the "control panel" - "-" management tools & rdquo;- ""Task Scheduler", select ", then "Task Scheduler Library" - "&"";Microsoft”-"“Windows”-"“WindowsBackup”, delete the right mouse button of the AutomaticBackup item in the right window Just fine.
Related backup files can be manually deleted (if the mediaID.bin file is still deleted, please modify the file permissions, grant full control permissions for Authenticated User), or advance in the backup and restore window before deleting the plan. Delete
