Simply, DLNA technology can connect mobile phones, tablets, computers, TVs (or audio and other audio and video equipment) in the home LAN, and access music, photos and videos from each other.
The current smartphone, whether it is iPhone, Android or Windows Phone, or even Nokia N9 mobile phone with Meego system, supports DLNA to share video.
Windows 7/8 provides media streaming support, using DLNA technology to achieve the interconnection of media files between computers, TVs and mobile phones.
After the following operations are set, the media stream support function will be enabled for Windows 7/8 to realize the interconnection and playback of media files of computers, TVs and mobile phones in the same LAN.

At the same time, Windows will detect devices that are found in the LAN to support playback of media streams, allowing you to choose whether or not to allow them to browse your media library (by default, all devices are allowed to access).
Click the “Next” button after the setup is complete.

In the "Family Group" settings window, you need to set the media categories that allow other devices to access: Pictures, Music, Videos, Documents, Printers and Devices, keep the default settings allowed, click “Next ” button.

In order to ensure the security of the file, Windows will randomly generate a password to protect the security of the device and the document. Please record the password (access to the media file is not affected by this).
Click the “Complete" button to complete the setup.

Windows uses Windows Media Player to access other devices that have DLNA sharing enabled, while providing media platforms for other devices on the computer.
Please run Windows Media Player, click on “media stream" on the menu, and select the last two of the three options, that is, “Allow remote control of my player” and “Allow automatic permission” The device plays my media”.
