Use the registry to recover accidentally deleted Win7 notes.

  
Win7 attachments are included with the notes, which is a powerful assistant in the work. Usually, when you delete a note, the system will pop up the delete prompt for further confirmation. As shown below:

But if we put a checkmark in the selection box before “ no longer show this message, the next time the system will not ask, and delete directly. Open the start menu, in the start search box, type "ldedit; regedit. Exe”, press the Enter key to open the Registry Editor.

If you jump out of the User Account Control window, press “Yes  Continue.


Find the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionAppletsStickyNotes

Double-click the PROMPT_ON_DELETE registry key. In the "value" data box, type 00000001, then click “OK”.

Exit the registration form.
Complete! Now delete the sticky note and the prompt box will jump out again.
