U disk boot Windows 7 operating system

If you don't have an optical drive (such as some thin and light business books), or if the optical drive is damaged, can you install a system for your computer?
The answer is yes; it can be installed, and there are more than one method. Here is a brief introduction to one of them: install Windows 7 using a USB flash drive. In the process, we need two conditions: Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool; and Windows 7 ISO file.

Steps/Methods

  1. First, we need to download a tool: Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool. Download and install.

  2. Double-click to open the tool, click Browse to locate the ISO file for Windows 7, press Next;

  3. Next, you will be prompted to choose to start Media, because Xiaoyi wants to build a bootable USB flash drive, so choose USB Device;

  4. Select the USB flash drive you want to use. (If you have multiple USB flash drives, you can use the drop-down menu. Select the one you want to use, press Begin copying;
  5. (Note: here, the USB stick used as the boot disk should have at least 4GB of flash memory.)
  6. Windows 7 USB/now The DVD Download Tool starts creating a bootable USB drive, which can take a few minutes. After the U disk is created, connect to the computer and set the first boot item of the BIOS computer to U disk to start the system installation.
