Can Win7 not add files to the Windows Media Player media library?

  
Stop all Windows Media Player related services.
Close Windows Media Player. Type “services.msc” in the Start Search box and press Enter.

If the user account control window pops up, please allow to continue.

Find those services that start with Windows Media Player. If the status is “Started", right click and select “Stop”.

2. Rename the Windows Media folder
Enter the path %USERPROFILE%Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoft in the address bar, press Enter, and open. Find and right click on the folder Windows Media and select “Rename”. You can arbitrarily name this folder, such as Windows Media Old.


When you open Windows Media Player again, a Windows Media folder is automatically rebuilt, as shown in the following image.
