Let Windows7 automatically update drivers

A driver is software that allows communication between a computer and a hardware device. For hardware that has been connected to a computer in the past, Windows 7 updated drivers may be available later, but will not be installed automatically. However, you can easily set up Windows 7 to automatically download the recommended drivers.
First, click “Start”→“Control Panel”→“View Devices and Printers”. Then, right-click on the computer name and click on <;Device Installation Settings> (Figure 1).

Next, in the "Device Installation Settings" dialog box, click “ Yes, auto perform this operation (recommended) & rdquo;, then click “Save Changes & rdquo; button (Figure 2 ). If prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To get all the important and recommended updates for your computer and device, you need to make sure Windows Update is enabled and set to “Automatically install updates (recommended). Fortunately, this is the default feature that Windows 7 Windows Update has enabled. But if you are not sure if it is open, go to “Control Panel →System & Security→Windows Update→Change Settings", and then under "Important Updates", select “Automatically install updates (recommended)&rdquo ;, under “Recommended Updates, check the "Recommended Updates" checkbox in the same way that you receive important updates, and click the "OK" button.
After the above settings, Windows 7 can automatically download and install the device's update driver, which is a good way to ensure that all the hardware on the computer works properly.
