The method of backing up the registry in Win7 system is as follows.
Click the left mouse button on the bottom left corner of the Win7 system desktop, click the "Start" button, type "ldedit" in the search box, press the Enter key or click the searched program with the mouse to open the registry. editor. Sometimes the system prompts for an administrator password or UAC confirmation.
Special note: You must be logged in as an administrator to import the complete information. If you are not logged in as an administrator, you can only change the settings that apply to the current user account.

Find the items or sub-items in the registry that you need to back up, click to select.

Click on the menu & ldquo; File - Export & rdquo;. (If we need to import the registry, select "Import" in this interface.)

In the "Export Registry File" panel, select "Save in the box" and select to save. Back up the folder location of the copy, and then type the name of the backup file in the <;filename” box.

Clicking on "Save" will save the current registry information in a .reg file. If something goes wrong or problems with the registry, we can save it with similar steps. The registry information is imported into the Win7 system, and the problems caused by the registry error can be easily solved.
Also, before editing the registry, it is best to create a restore point using “System Restore”. This restore point contains information about the registry that you can use to cancel changes made to the system.
