Win7 system display suffix name setting

We may have encountered such a problem. When downloading exe type files, the browser automatically adds another extension to the file in order to prevent downloading of malware. The extension determines the file attributes. The key, after the modification, the type of the file has changed, so it cannot be run. And our Win7 system does not show the file extension by default, how to let Win7 system display the file extension.
The operation is very simple. First, click on “Organize> in the menu bar of the folder, and then open the “ folder and search options”.

Open “Folders and Search Options"
Click the “View” tab, uncheck “ Hide extensions for known file types”.

Uncheck "“ Hide extensions for known file types"
Finally, click the “OK” button to save the settings. Go back to the folder and see that all file extensions are displayed.
It's a very simple setup, and the next time we encounter such a problem, we can set it up.
