A hard disk primary partition has at least one, at most four, extended partitions can be no, up to one, and the primary partition + extended partitions can not exceed 4 in total, and logical partitions can have several. Figure:

If you need more partitions, you can only resize the D drive and create more partitions. The disk management that comes with the Windows system has the editing function of partition capacity adjustment and disk partition deletion and creation. With this tool, the D disk can be divided into more disk partitions.
Operation steps:
Step 1, right click on the “computer” icon on the desktop, click <;Manage”, click “Disk Management”.

Step 2, right click on the D drive partition and select the compressed volume.

In the dialog box that appears, enter the size of the space to be compressed, where “the size of the available compressed space”that is, the remaining space of the D disk, “the total size after compression" . For example, after partitioning the D disk 50G, just enter the amount of compressed space " enter 421268-50*1024=370068.

Click OK after the input is complete to compress the D drive. After the compression is successful, as shown in the figure:

Step 3, right-click in the free space section, select “New Simple Volume", enter the new partition size (the legend is to divide the partition into 100G), select the partition Format (NTFS format is recommended, FAT32 format does not support single file storage above 4G).
