Although the data in the registry is very complicated, in order to improve system performance, we also have to work on the registry. However, when manually modifying the registry, it is likely to destroy the contents of the registry. For example, when you accidentally double-click a registry file (*.reg), the system defaults to "merge" all of a sudden. Imported the registry, which can damage the entire system. In fact, we can change the system's response to double-click the registry file from the default "merge" to "edit" to avoid misuse. The specific method is as follows:

Open any browser window, such as open the "My Computer" window, select the "Folder Options" command under the "Tools" menu, select "File" in the pop-up dialog box.
