Microsoft first exposed Windows7 SP1 new features and improvements

This is also the first time Microsoft has officially mentioned the function and improvement of the service package after everyone has talked about Windows7 SP1. Unfortunately, it did not disclose the specific date of its release.

For Windows Server 2008 R2, SP1 will introduce two newest desktop virtualization features: Microsoft RemoteFX and Dynamic Memory, both of which are designed to meet the growing consumer The need to use virtualization in a Windows Server 2008 R2 environment.

For Windows 7, SP1 only includes a few minor upgrades, mainly patches that were previously pushed through Windows Update. Windows 7 SP1 will also include an upgraded version of the Remote Desktop client. The upgraded Remote Desktop client primarily adds the RemoteFX feature that will be introduced in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

Microsoft said that it is currently not possible to tell the beta version of Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 or the official release date. After Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 are completed, Microsoft will provide downloads through Windows Update and the Microsoft Download Center.
