Data talk: October Windows7 share exceeds the sum of Linux and Snow Leopard

The Windows family still dominates with a 92.52% share, but it is the only negative growth compared to a 0.25 percentage point drop in September. Mac OS climbed 0.15 percentage points, now 5.27%, while Linux increased by 0.01 percentage points, still only 0.96%.

While Windows 7 was officially launched at the end of October, even this share has reached 2.15%, while Snow Leopard has only 1.17%.
