I. Installation

The Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor installation file is only 6.26MB, but only if it is on your PC. The latest version of the .NET Framework has been installed, otherwise you will have to download and install the 22.4 MB .NET Framework 2.0.

When choosing an installation folder, you need to be aware that what you choose should be the folder where you are going to install Windows 7, and the “Disk Cost” option can be used to check the space used by the hard disk. Finally click OK to complete the installation.

III. Test Report

System Requirements Test includes five items: upgrade backup, memory, hard disk space, CPU speed, and Windows Aero compatibility. A check mark is displayed before the item that meets the requirements.

The first three items of the author's PC are not required, and the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor gives suggestions later. For upgrade backup items, Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor recommends backing up files before installing Windows 7. For memory items, Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor explains that the PC meets the 1G memory requirements of 32-bit Windows 7, but if you want 2G memory requirements 64-bit Windows 7 can run normally on the PC, you need to contact the merchant to upgrade; for hard disk space, Windows 7 upgrade consultants suggest that installing 32-bit Windows 7 requires at least 16G hard disk space, and installing 64-bit Windows 7 requires at least 20G hard disk space. .
