Installing Windows 7 Beta OS from a USB flash drive

You may want to install Windows 7 Beta on a netbook, but the netbook generally does not have a CD-ROM drive. You probably haven't purchased an external CD-ROM drive for it. In addition, you may be concerned about environmental protection. I hope to download the Windows 7 Beta ISO for the disk; or you don't like the speed and toss installed from the CD-ROM drive. Anyway, Windows 7 supports installation from a USB removable hard drive or flash drive.

Required equipment:

U disk, bring your own

Copy Windows 7 installation files to a USB drive

Unzip, burn, or load your Windows 7 DVD somewhere, For example, x:, assuming your USB flash drive is z:, then:

After xcopy is complete, insert the USB flash drive into the computer you want to install and reboot. Use the BIOS settings or press a hotkey to select boot from the USB drive. Then follow the on-screen instructions to install.
