If you do not install anti-virus software, 80% of viruses can invade Windows7

On November 4th, according to foreign media reports, Sophos, a well-known Internet security company in the UK, said that the security function of Windows 7 User Account Control (hereinafter referred to as "UAC") can only protect against 20% of viruses.

Without installing any anti-virus software, under the default system settings of Windows 7, Sophos used 10 new viruses to test UAC, and only 2 viruses were prevented.

UAC is designed to prevent unauthorized software from running, and most current viruses can bypass this barrier. This shows that the security of Windows 7 is not much better than the previous version, users still need to install anti-virus software after purchasing a new PC.

Of course, Microsoft also recommends that users install anti-virus software and provide free anti-virus software Microsoft Security Essentials.
