PXE starts to install Windows 7 principle

First, talk about PXE boot. PXE (preboot execute environment) is a boot technology developed by Intel Corporation. It works in the network mode of Client/Server and supports workstations to download image files from remote servers through the network, and thus supports the startup process of the operating system from the network.

At present, the computer's network card almost supports PXE booting. Generally, there is a similar "PXE boot" in the BIOS boot settings, which means that PXE boot is supported. We only need to configure the boot parameters and the genuine Windows 7 installation shared image on the server (there are ways to make it later). After the client starts, you can install Windows 7 through network mapping.

Two small software to build a network server

Download "deep remote boot manager" and "small strong PE toolbox PXE version" two small software. The Deep Remote Boot Manager is deployed on the server side to remotely boot the client computer and assign IP, while transferring the required boot files. The Xiaoqiang PE Toolbox PXE version is used for the operating environment after the network startup (WinPE). It has been integrated with Ghost32 and automatically maps the shared resources of the server after startup.

Follow the prompts to install "Little Xiaoqiang PE Toolbox PXE Edition" to ""C:\\ZJQPXE”, after installation is complete, close the "WinPE PXE Special Edition Server Settings" window, use it yourself" Deep Remote Boot Manager & rdquo; configuration.
