Running Windows 7 M3 on the X60 notebook

Windows 7 M3 Build 6801.0.080913-2030 (hereafter referred to as: Win7 M3) test results in the virtual machine I am satisfied, the system stability is quite high, which makes me have Sufficient information to run Win7 M3 directly on my laptop. This morning, I redone my notebook system. Since the X60 does not have a CD-ROM drive, I used the Windows PE 2.0 boot computer on the mobile hard disk, run the MSVirtua lCD integrated in the PE, and load it on the notebook D disk. Install a new installation of the Win7 ME3 installation image (ISO) file. Note that if you also use this method for installation, be sure to list the installation disk once after loading the ISO installation image, otherwise errors may occur during the installation process!

The installation speed on the entity is not much different from the speed of my previous virtual machine installation, just a few minutes faster. File copying is fast, and subsequent system preparation and startup preparation processes take a lot of time, but overall the overall installation time is very satisfactory for a 10G multi-capacity operating system.

First, enter the management to check the identification of the hardware driver. In addition to fingerprint recognition, other hardware has been identified and working properly. Windows Update can update the latest drivers of some hardware. A solution for fingerprint devices can be found in the Windows Solution Center. In order to get the most out of each hardware, I think it is wise to install the hardware manufacturer's driver.

Run winver and view system information, which is valid for up to July 1, 2009. What does this time mean? ! The system rating of the System Information Viewer is no different from the scores of the previous Vista. The main bottleneck of my X60 is still on the graphics card, but it is good to be able to open Aero Glass.

Open Windows Task Manager and found that in the Aero Glass effect on mode, the memory usage remains above 700M, which is not much different from the previous Vista! I hope that the later version will be improved, otherwise it will make many people daunting!

Win7 M3 has officially settled in the X60 of gOxiA, and the future life, work and entertainment will be based on Win7 M3 and subsequent versions. In the days to come, I will begin my journey of exploring Win7 M3 and share my new discoveries and experiences with you!
