Windows 7 lets Messenger to the system bar icon

Windows 7 brings us a new Taskbar and JumpList feature that makes it easy for us to manage desktop programs or forms. However, there may be a large number of users who are temporarily unable to adapt to the location of the icon after installing Windows Live Messenger under Windows 7. Compare the following figure:

two The location of the icon position of the icon is still very different. I believe that some users may not be able to accept the Live Messenger in Taskbar mode for the time being. However, in the Taskbar mode, we can use the JumpList to achieve a faster operation experience. In order to meet the needs of users who are temporarily unable to accept new models, we can also solve this problem through compatibility mode.

First, find the shortcut to the program and enter its properties. As shown below:

After switching to the “Compatibility” tab, check “Compatible mode to run this program in compatibility mode” and in the list Select “Windows Vista”.

Finally, turning off Live Messenger and re-running will reveal that the icon has returned to the previous mode. On the contrary!
