Windows 7 library tips: collect files

  

In the Windows XP era, the main form of file management is based on the user's personal wishes, stored in the form of a folder as a basic classification, and then refined according to the file type. However, with the increase in the number and types of files and the uncertainty of user behavior, the original file management method often causes confusion in file storage and repeated files, which cannot meet the actual needs of users. In Windows 7 (hereafter referred to as Win 7), due to the introduction of the "library", file management is more convenient, you can add files from the local or local area network to the "library" and collect the files.

Simply put, the file library can bring together the files and folders we need, just like the web favorites, just click on the link in the library to quickly open the add to the library. Folders - regardless of where they were originally hidden in the local computer or LAN. In addition, they are automatically updated as the original folder changes, and can exist in the file library in the same name.

1. Add a local folder to the library

Open any folder, you can observe the "library" in the navigation bar. By default, it already contains videos, pictures, Common items such as documents and music. To add a new folder to the library, you can right-click on the "Library" and select "New → Library" from the pop-up menu. In this case, we renamed the newly created library to "physics teaching." Next, right-click on "Physical Tutorial" and select "Properties", click on the "Include Folders" item from the pop-up dialog box, and then add the folders from the local computer (as shown in Figure 1). Here we can see that the added folder is marked with the real address of the active folder, which is convenient for us to distinguish (for example, a folder with the same name).
