Easily adjust Win7 taskbar preview window size

When we hover over an image of an application in the Windows 7 taskbar, a preview window will appear, allowing you to quickly preview the corresponding window content. Maybe you will think that the empty preview window is too small to see the contents inside. If you have this confusion, then I will adjust it to size.

Step1: Open the Registry Editor, click the Start button, enter Regedit in the Run box and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Step2: In the registry editor, go to the branch hkey_current_user\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Taskband, right click in the space on the right, select New /Dword, and then press the key. The value is renamed to Minthumbzizepx.

Step3: Double-click the newly created Minthumbsizepx key, and then enter the preview window size you want to adjust in the value data. The default is around 200, you can adjust to a slightly larger value, such as 300. Once set, click OK and close the registry.

Step4: Log out of the user, log in again to see the preview window becomes larger.
