Win7 open camera failed prompt "Cannot list filter image" What should I do?

Solution:

1. Click on the bottom left corner of the desktop “Start”---"Run” (or press WIN+R at the same time), enter “ CMD”, run the following command in turn:

regsvr32 Quartz.dll

regsvr32 Proppage.dll

regsvr32 directSpy.dll, as shown:

Then restart the system.

2, if there is still a problem open, or prompted to find the module, go to download the attachment of this article, which has three files (Proppage.dll, directSpy.dll, Quartz.dll), copied to C: Windowssystem32 (64-bit system is the syswow64 folder) directory, then re-execute step 1 above.

3, the problem has not been resolved, it is possible that the system is missing the msvfw32.dll file (msvfw32.dll is a Windows API application interface related module for AVI movies and video on the camera and other video hardware Intercept), or the file is corrupted. Download the msvfw32.dll in the attached file, copy it to the C:windowssystem32 (64-bit system is the syswow64 folder) directory, and then re-execute step 1.

4, if still can not solve the problem, it may be caused by a third-party software, focus on the software that can call the camera, uninstall or disable the test.

Since most of the systems are installed using ghost, many files are simplified, and the related DLL files supporting the camera driver are also deleted, and the filter image cannot be listed. Follow the instructions described above and if it is not possible to resolve the system under reinstallation.
