How to make the computer switch malfunction in Windows XP system

My little nephew prefers the computer. When I play near my computer, I often turn the computer switch to turn off the computer that I can't easily open. Therefore, I remembered that when the file in the computer was deleted, a confirmation dialog box appeared before the system was deleted, so that we could not perform the wrong operation. In the default case of Windows XP, if you press the switch on the chassis, Windows XP will shut down directly without any prompt dialog box. Can you let the computer say a greeting before closing, so as to prevent the system from shutting down due to the mess or the misuse of the system? The answer is yes, let's take a look at the steps below: First, use the mouse on the desktop. Right-click in the blank space, select the "Properties" command from the shortcut menu to open the "Display Properties" dialog box (Figure 1), and then select the "Screen Saver" tab from its dialog box to open the screen saver page. Then click the "Power (O)..." button in the dialog to open the "Power Options Properties" dialog (Figure 2), then select the "Advanced" tab from the dialog to open the "Advanced" tab page, then Click the drop-down list arrow in the list box after "When the computer power button is pressed (E)" in the "Power button" field in its dialog box, and then select item 2 of the list box ("Ask me What to do"), click the "OK" or "Apply" button in the dialog box. Try pressing the power button... Windows XP will display the "Close Computer" dialog box (Figure 3). Ask you: "What do you want the computer to do?" You can choose "Shutdown", "Standby", "Restart the computer" - —OK, decide your own operation! Figure 1 Figure 2 Figure 3
