Windows 7 eventually surpasses Windows XP

Computer Store News: In the past few years, Windows XP has been the most popular PC operating system. It is reported that Windows XP has always occupied the largest number of users in all PC operating systems. And Windows XP has achieved such a huge success largely because of the failure of its successor - Windows Vista. Due to the performance of Windows Vista "weak and incompetent", most companies and users have expressed reluctance to upgrade.

In contrast, Microsoft's next Windows 7 is much better than Windows Vista, and more and more users choose to upgrade Windows 7. Recently, the latest statistics released by the US Internet traffic monitoring agency Net Applications show that Windows 7 users have surpassed Windows XP for the first time in history.

According to the latest statistics from Net Applications, Windows 7 is finally on the board. The number of PC operating system users ranked first, accounting for 42.76% of the share. Windows XP ranked second, with a share of 42.52%. Windows Vista still maintains its third position with a share of 6.15%. Net Applications also shows that Windows 8 accounts for only 0.23% of the total. But Net Applications estimates that this ratio should skyrocket after October 26.
