Computer Shop News: Microsoft talks about Win8.1 version of IE11 touch experience upgrade

IE11 was launched in June as part of Windows 8.1. IE11 includes some new changes, including improvements for touch screens.

Microsoft said in a blog that Windows 8.1 version of IE11 has a better touch experience, hovering through the mouse menu (when touching) is an important improvement of Windows 8.1 version of IE11.

Microsoft also mentioned in the blog that in addition to touch hover support, when you hold down the link, a top-down menu command bar appears at the bottom of the screen, and the user is in the command bar. You can open a new tab or window access button.

Compared with IE10, the new version of IE also optimizes the navigation experience. The page slides around for a better experience, and swiping the page on all devices becomes faster and smoother.

IE11 is the first browser that supports HTML5 drag and drop by default. It supports devices including stylus and mouse.
