Microsoft promises that "Windows 10 as a Service" will be updated every six months.

  

Computer Store News: In the upcoming official PPT presentation of the WinHEC conference, Microsoft made clear the "Windows 10 as a Service" roadmap. Confirmed the frequency of Windows 10 update releases. According to the slide show, Microsoft plans to release Windows 10 updates every six months, which is twice a year.


Each update will be evaluated based on feedback from Windows Insider over the past 6 months, followed by a Pilot period of up to 4 months, at which stage individual trials will be released to Insider users. The version; in the following 12 months is officially promoted to the market, in addition to a two-month transition period.
