How to install WIN2000 under XP system?

One: After installing Windows XP, it is much simpler to install Windows 2000 than to install 98 or ME. The method described in this article does not use third-party software, and can be operated on FAT32 or NTFS file formats.
1. First, open the "Control Panel", select "Folder Options" and double-click, select "View" in the "Folder Options" window, "Hide Protected Operating System Files" in "Advanced Settings" "The former "√" is removed to show the two system files we need: "NTLDR" and "NTDETECT.COM";
2. Copy the above two files to a floppy disk;
3 Modify the boot options in the BIOS to boot the computer from the CD and run the Windows 2000 installation operating procedures;
4. Install Windows 2000 as normal;
5. After the installation is complete, boot the computer to Windows 2000;
6. Copy the above two files that we copied to the floppy disk to the root directory of the C area; if the system prompts that it cannot be copied, the user needs to modify the attributes of the above two files, and remove their "read only" and "hidden" And other attributes.
Description: We are doing this because the Win XP versions of "NTLDR" and "NTDETECT.COM" support booting Windows 2000, but the latter does not support booting to the former, so we need to do the above.

2:
1) Start your computer with a Win98\\Me boot disk (supporting CD-ROM drive).
2) Put the Windows 2000 CD into your CD-ROM drive.
3) At the A: prompt, type X:\\I386\\WINNT.EXE where X: is your CD-ROM drive letter.
4) Start installing Windows 2000 to a non-Windows XP installation partition.
5) After the installation is complete, restart the computer in Windows 2000.
X is the letter of your light zone
