Windows XP super practical skills two

Some time ago, many friends asked "all settings are correct, that is, the switch has no sound" problem. After several tests, we finally found the cause of the switch no sound and solutions:

First, the cause of the malfunction

the use of "windows optimization master" When optimizing the function, ticked in front of the option "Optimize Windows Sound and Audio Configuration", resulting in no sound on the switch.

Second, the solution

way A: Using "windows optimization guru" of recovery, "the various attributes of the file system reverts to the default windows "Value", after the system is restarted, the sound of the switch is restored to normal. Note that the next time you optimize, don't check the "Optimize windows sound and audio configuration" item.

way B: by modifying the registry to restore the voice switch easier. Start--run-regedit, open the registry editor, find the

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Control Panel\\Sound branch, and change the key value of the subkey Beep from "No" to "yes".
