Win7 operating system service optimization Daquan

1, understand the basics of Win7 system service optimization

Compared with Windows XP and Windows 2003 only seventy services, to the Windows 7 era, the system has been added to More than one hundred and fifty services (more than 130 Vista systems), which inevitably increase the system resource consumption, slow down the system speed, occupy the system CPU and memory resources.

Of course, in each version of Windows 7, the number of services that are loaded by default is significantly different. The most feature is the Ultimate version (the Ultimate version), which definitely loads the most services.

The number of service loads on Windows systems severely affects Win7's boot speed, so optimizing services is even more important.

2, how to set up, turn on, off the Windows7 system services

1) with the Win7 system comes with the service management software:

Mode A, in the Win7 system At any time, press the Win key + R key shortcut to open the running window, enter Services.msc Enter; Mode B, click the Start menu & mdash; & mdash; in the search box, enter "ld"; service & rdquo; two Chinese characters, or enter Services.msc Enter; mode C, click on the control panel & mdash; & mdash; management tools & mdash; & mdash; service can also reach the same interface.

2) Use the Service Optimization Master in Windows 7 Optimization Master (or Rubik's Cube Service Management), and click on Service Optimization on the left in the System Optimization menu bar to open.

3, using the wizard in the Win7 optimization master to set up

Open Win7 optimization master will automatically pop up the optimization wizard for the first time, if there is no pop-up, please click on the left side of the Win7 optimization master “ Optimization Wizard & rdquo;, click Next to Step 4

The fourth step lists three recommended services that are closed (the selected service will be automatically closed after saving and will not be loaded next time):

1) Service Name Remote Registry: This service allows remote users to modify the local registry, it is recommended to close; 2) Service Name Secondary Logon: This service replaces the enable process under the credentials, it is recommended that ordinary users close; 3) Service name SSDP Discovery: This service starts UPNP device on the home network, it is recommended to shut down;

These four services are generally forbidden to drop the line, and then follow the wizard to enter the fifth step. Here are 6 lists. Recommended services to be closed: 1) Service name IP Helper: If your network protocol is not IPV6, it is recommended to turn off this service; 2) Service name IPsec Policy Agent: Use and manage IP security policy, build Ordinary user is closed; 3) Service name System Event Notification Service: Record system events, it is recommended for normal users to close; 4) Service name Print Spooler: If you do not use the printer, it is recommended to turn off this service; 5) Service name Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) : If you are not using a scanner or digital camera, it is recommended to turn off this service; 6) Service Name Windows Error Reporting Service: When an error occurs in the system, submit an error report to Microsoft, it is recommended to turn off this service;

The required service, save, OK, the list of services that are not commonly used in the wizard is over! Here is a friendly reminder, be sure to read the descriptions in the wizard!

4, use the service Optimize the master for service management

Yes, as mentioned earlier, Windows 7 optimization master comes with service management, compared with the Win7 system comes with, the biggest advantage of Win7 service optimization master is that it can be current The service plan saves the backup to your favorite plan, and can also restore (import) the plan you saved before, of course. There Restore button, you can restore the system to restore the initial default settings of the service at any time.

Open the Windows7 optimization master, click on the above "System Optimization", and then click on the service optimization on the left, OK, open the Win7 Service Optimization Master. As shown below:

Win7 service management masters can also filter the service status by themselves, or click on each title bar to sort, etc., which is much better than the service management function that comes with the system.

5, other points about Win7 system services

Windows 7 and Vista in addition to the original NT kernel system's Automatic, Manual, Disable options, the service is more Automatic (Delayed Start), its role is probably to delay the start of the service to reduce the load when the system is loaded, so that the system enters the user response state as soon as possible before starting some non-critical services. Since many system services are associated with each other, this option is not well used. For example, configuring a service's prerequisite service to delay startup may slow down the overall startup. Considering the complexity of the software application environment, it is generally not recommended to set the service to Disable. Otherwise, it is very likely that an application will be abnormal and no prompt will be given when the application is disabled on a certain day. Therefore, only Automatic and Manual are recommended below. In some cases, after the system service is set to Manual, it will not start when the software needs it, and it will cause a fault. You need to check it carefully. Some key services are not able to adjust the startup mode, such as Remote Procedure Call, Plug and Play, etc., and some services will be started by other services, so the automatic or manual effect is the same.

6, Quick Reference

All Manual: After all the Win7 system services are turned into Manual, Windows7 enters the original state, even the Explorer and Control Panel cannot Normal operation, can only be modified by calling the service management terminal through the shortcut key, you should not try it.

The most basic system: Remote Procedure Call, Plug and Play, DCOM Server Process Launcher, User Profile Service, Windows Management Instrumentation set these services to automatic, the system is available, similar to the Windows 2000 interface. It is recommended to set the Software Licensing service to automatic. This is an important part of Win7 genuine verification and system operation. This service does not start. The system is the same as the pirated version that expires. The following functions cannot be started.

Access to the network: In addition to the services in the most basic system, you need to automatically run DHCP Client, DNS Client, Network Connections.

Complete experience: In addition to the most basic system and access to the services in the network, you need to run automatically: Themes (open it has XP interface); Desktop Windows Manager Session Manager (open it to open Aero effect) ); Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder (the two are equivalent to the original Windows Audio, open the system to speak); Windows Search, Windows Defender, Windows Firewall, Superfetch (these are new features and new features of Win7 and Vista) ).

Other services automatically run suggestions: Distributed Link Tracking Client (using NTFS file system); Function Discovery Resource Publication, Server, Workstation (access to LAN shared resources); Printer Spooler (using printer); Group Policy Client (at Centralized management of the IT environment); IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules; Task Scheduler; Windows Update (automatic update system patch); ReadyBoost (if you have a large capacity, fast U disk ).

World Wide Web Publishing Service, IIS Admin Service, FTP Publishing Service, MSMQ service are all related services of IIS7. They are not installed by default. Generally, they are set to Manual after installation.
