Win7 dual system and linux virtual machine to share files

  

1, first start your virtual machine, only start your virtual machine we can install this tool.

Unzip the file to the specified directory. Right click on the VMware tool installation package, there is a decompression option, click —— select the path and create a new folder —— extract it. Using commands is also very simple.

4, install VMware tool

Open the path of the file you just extracted, open it, and then find the folder of the file you just extracted —— find the vmware——install.pl. file, Double click after the figure. Select the first one, just wait, and you can complete the installation. Running with commands is also very simple. Open the console directly in the directory where the file is located and type ./vmware-install.pl.

Setting up a shared folder

1. Exit the Linux system and find the menu bar of the virtual machine. There is a virtual machine —— setting options.

2. After clicking Settings, select the option button to enter the option interface.

3, in the option interface there is a shared folder option, click, on the right side we can select the folder in the win7 system for sharing.

4, first set the shared folder to always enable, so it will be automatically opened the next time you use it.

5, then click the Add button, after adding, you can select the file path in your host (win7). Then click Continue, OK, I have not added the demo here before.

Reading files under linux

1. Enter your linux system and open the disk in your computer.

2. Select mnt/hgfs, then you can see the folder you just shared. After opening, the files in the folder will appear in front of you. finished.

Note: If you don't try to restart the Linux system, try it.
