Speed up the Win7 system: the magic of the AHCI setting

We all know that once the system is used for a long time, the overall running speed will be slower. The practical and beautiful Win7 system is no exception. The more common method for running slow is to optimize the system service. In fact, we can make full use of the AHCI settings to make our system run faster.

What is AHCI?

AHCI, the full name is SerialATAAdvancedHostControllerInterface (serial ATA advanced host interface), is an interface standard jointly developed by many companies under the guidance of Intel. In AHCI, Intel introduced the NCQ (NativeCommandQueue) function and hot plug technology. After receiving the read/write command, the hard disk supporting NCQ technology will reorder the access addresses according to the instructions, reducing the reading time and making the data transmission more efficient.

First of all, you have to make sure your motherboard supports AHCI.

If your motherboard supports AHCI, please enter the Bios settings before installing Windows 7, and adjust the default IDE in SATAcontrollerMode to AHCI in the Advanced option.

Please note that the Bios of different motherboards may be different. Please set the corresponding items when setting.

In addition to the common system optimization techniques, we can also try some subtle settings, these settings can also make our system run faster, try it together.
