How to set up a method for sharing printers with different operating systems

  

Usually people set up a small LAN in their home and office, whether it's easy to work or for other reasons, so we can achieve printer network sharing. All computers can be shared with just one printer.

The most popular computer operating systems are Microsoft's Windows system and Apple's OSX system. Apple Mac OSX 10.3 or higher system supports sharing a printer with a computer using Windows. First we set up the network, and then make sure the printer and computer are connected to the LAN. Next, let's tell you how to connect a printer to a computer with a different operating system with Win7 and OSX.

A computer setup for the Win7 operating system

1. Click the Start button at the bottom of the screen.

2. Select the Control Panel from the pop-up list.

3. Select “Programs and Features”.

4. Click “ to turn Windows features on or off.

6. Make sure the printer is set to share.
