How Win7 uses Disk Genius to detect and repair bad sectors of hard disk

1. Download DiskGenius first. After downloading, you don't need to install it. Just unzip it to your hard disk and you can use it. Everyone can see that the copyright was developed by a man named Li Dahai. As early as in the DOS era, he was like a slap in the face.

Double-click Disk Genius.exe to run. The program interface is as follows.

2, you can see a hard disk with a nominal 320G, the display capacity is 298G,

3, first select a logic Disk, such as logical disk H, click on the “hard disk& rdquo; menu, select “ bad track detection and repair & rdquo; for detection. As shown below:

4, click “ bad track detection and repair & rdquo;, the pop-up dialog box can see the cylinder range of the H disk, then we click & ldquo Start the test & rdquo; just fine.

5, click “ start detection & rdquo; After scanning, the scanning process dialog box will pop up, the following figure is the scene when detecting the E disk.

When scanning to bad sectors, it will sound "snap, sigh", but will scan the past in a short time. After completion, there will be a message indicating whether there are bad sectors and several bad sectors.

6. If there are bad sectors, we can delete the partitions and divide the 10~20MB space before and after the bad sectors into one area. Then hide the partition so that you can hide bad sectors and prevent the physical bad sectors from spreading.
