Win7 right-click to create a new Word option

  

1, click Start, find the run command line, enter regedit, open the registry.

2. Locate the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT directory on the left and expand it.

3, First of all, we use the CTRL + F shortcut to find the location of “docx”, of course, you can also find it yourself.

4. After you find it, you don't need to expand the directory. We can see that there is one on the right (default), the default value is Word_auto_file, and it doesn't matter if it is not.

5. Double-click (default) one to change it to Word.Document.12.

6, close the registry, refresh the desktop, this is what we found right in the right new Word back.

7, according to the same method, we enter the registry to find the location of "xlsx", and (default) changed to Excel.Sheet.12; then look for “pptx”, will (default) change For PowerPoint.Show.12.

8, close the registry, back to the desktop, after multiple refreshes, right-click on the new Word, Excel, PPT will be back.

9, if you use the CTRL + F lookup in the registry, the corresponding directory is not found, please note the "marked next"  ; find the next ”. CTRL + F can only find the content after the location, please select the first directory in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT directory, and then find it again.
