Win7 uses iTools to backup SHSH method

1. Connect the device to the PC with the data cable, run iTools (you need to right-click to run as administrator under Win7):

2, in the main interface of iTools Information about the currently connected device is displayed. Select the SHSH management option.

3, the right side will prompt the currently connected device, and a list of devices that have been connected to backup SHSH. Check the device you need to back up SHSH. Then click the Save SHSH button above.

4, the information list below will prompt the current SHSH backup situation. Whenever you update a new version of the firmware, the SHSH of the old version cannot be backed up, so you will be prompted: "Failed, you are acting too late." & rdquo;

SHSH's backup work is now complete, you can use the SHSH file to restore the iPhone/iPad to the old version of the firmware. At this time, you need to start the TSS service. The steps are as follows:

5. When you want to restore the low version firmware, you not only need the SHSH file, but also need to start the TSS service with iTools. This step is very simple.

6. When you click to open the TSS service, a confirmation dialog box for modifying the host file will pop up. Click OK. If it is a win7 system, you must run the program as an administrator.

7. Allow this operation in firewalls or other software that protects host files. You can see the success prompt later, you can now use iTunes to brush back the lower version firmware.
