Win7 prompts that the diagnostic policy service is not running, cannot diagnose, check the network solution

Win7 Prompt Diagnostic Policy Service is not running Unable to diagnose network solution. In Win7 systems, we usually use network diagnostics to check for problems when a network failure occurs. However, sometimes when using network diagnostics, the prompt “Diagnostic policy service is not running” will appear, causing the network to fail diagnostics. So how do you deal with this? Below, please take a look at the small series.

The solution is as follows:

1. Start → Run → Enter: services.msc Click OK (or press Enter) to open the service.

2. In the service, find: Diagnostic Policy Service ▶ If it is not enabled, right click to start.

3, if the startup is not possible (the menu is gray), that is, the startup mode is not correct, double-click the service, or click the property to open the service → start type → click ▼ to adjust to automatic or Manual → Application & Rarr; Start & Rar; OK;

4, in addition to the Diagnostic Policy Service service needs to be turned on, you can also open the following two services:

diagnostic service host

diagnostic system host

5. If the service is enabled and there is a prompt like error 1079, you can click on the login tab of the service to include the current account.

The above is the processing method that Win7 can't diagnose and check the network prompt “Diagnostic policy service is not running”. Through the above methods, network diagnosis can be used normally.
