Install Chrome OS on virtual machine under Windows 7

  
        

Before deploying Chrom OS, we need to download the OS image of a virtual machine. We use the latest VMware 7.0 to deploy Chrome OS virtual machines in Windows 7.

Click on the "File-New Virtual Machine" command in VMware;

In the pop-up "New Virtual Machine Wizard" window select "Custom"", click “Next” button (Figure 1);

Click on the “Next” button; in the window that appears, select "I Will install the Operating system later” (I will install the operating system later), click on the "Next" button (Figure 2);

Next select “Guest Operating system” as shown in Figure 3, click on the "Next" button;

and then modify "Virtual machine name" as "Chrome OS" The installation location is set to a folder with a large space, click the “Next” button (Figure 4);

Next set the number of processors (Figure 5), click the “Next” button; set the virtual machine's memory (Figure 6), click the “Next” button;

Select the network type as bridge (as shown in Figure 7, there is a home broadband router and open DHCP recommended);

Then click the “Next” button; select the existing virtual hard disk (as shown in Figure 8), click the “Next” button; select the virtual hard disk file just extracted, click the “Next” button (Figure 9); Br>

Starting the virtual machine can enter the Chrome OS system (Figure 10).
