Step 1: Prepare the picture

The image format requirement is jpg format, the file size is controlled within 250KB (otherwise Can not display properly), the image resolution is adjusted to the current display resolution, the picture is named "backgroundDefault.jpg";

General notebook resolution is 1366x768, desktop computer LCD resolution is 1920x1080, I don't know what the resolution of my computer is. Please refer to the tutorial: "How does the resolution of the notebook screen look suitable?"

Second Step: Open Registry Editor

Open“Start”→“Run”→Type“regedit”→“OK”→ Start the Registry Editor as shown;

Enter the registry method diagram

Step 3: Change the registry

Click on the directory on the left to expand to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion \\Authentication\\LogonUI\\Background]→Create a new double-byte value on the right side OEMBackground" (OEM version of Win7 already has this key value) → Right click on the double-byte value → “Modify”→Modify the key value to “1”;

(Note: If you are an OEM version, you don't need to create a new one, you should have this double-byte value.)

Step 4: Replace the image file

Place the selected image in the C:\\Windows\\System32\\oobe\\info\\Backgrounds directory. If there is no folder behind the oobe directory, you can create it yourself.

Step 5: Test

Test

Finally, you can restart the computer to see the effect. Of course, you can also directly press the Win + L combination shortcut on the keyboard to switch to the login interface, and quickly see if the background has changed. If it becomes the background image set by yourself, the setting is successful.
