How to freely adjust the program volume in Win7?

When listening to songs or watching movies, if you open a web page with background music, you will feel very noisy. If you don’t want to turn off the webpage and don’t want to stop the player, you can use Win7’s volume control function to make the browser Mute. You can use the small speaker in the lower right corner of the system to adjust the volume. But in Win7, there are many things that this small speaker can do. For example, we can use its volume synthesizer to make different softwares emit different volume.

Click on the small speaker in the lower right corner to adjust the overall volume of the system by default. Click on “Synthesizer” below.

In the new dialog, we can see all the programs that can be played in the current system. Each program icon has a slider for adjusting the volume. If you want the sound of which program to be smaller, pull the slider down, which is the same way to adjust the volume in peacetime.

Click on the small speaker below to mute a program.

The programs listed here are divided into two groups: "device" and “application” There is only one “speaker” in the device group, which is the overall volume. The volume of other programs cannot be higher than it, and when the volume of the speaker changes, the volume of other programs will also rise or fall.
