31. Turn off system notifications

System notifications usually bother you and they are often useless, so you may want to turn off some of them. You can do this by double-clicking the notification area icon in the Control Panel in Win7. Here you can change the action center, network, sound, Windows Explorer, Media Center applet tray and Windows Auto Upgrade notifications and icons.
