Only if you are installing 64-bit Win8, your hard disk partition may be in GPT mode.

Randomly pre-installed Win8 computer, the disk is in GPT format, if you need to install an earlier version of Win7 and other systems, you need to convert to MBR format, use the Diskpart command to complete the conversion. Steps: Note: Converting the disk format requires clearing all partitions and data on the disk. Before operation, save all important data on the disk. 1. Use Win7 CD or U disk to boot, enter the system installation interface. 2. Press Shift + F10 to open a command prompt. 3.
