Windows 7 does not support hibernation method

The "Hibernate" button was not found when using Win7 recently. Searched for the help that came with Windows, it was some nonsense, and finally picked up google and found the answer.趁This record is shared with others.

Disappearing "Sleep"

As shown below, you can't find hibernation in the "Shutdown" submenu of the "Start" menu.

The & ldquo; sleep & rdquo; looking back

I remember the times when it seems XP is & ldquo; Power Management & rdquo; There. However, no related settings were found.

Find the following information, quickly found a solution:

Run, type in:

powercfg -h on

or enter the command line:

powercfg.exe /hibernate on

NOTE: this command is executed Requires administrator privileges.

& ldquo;Hibernate&

Still not coming back? See if "mixed sleep" is turned on

If you have not executed the above command, then open

Control Panel → Hardware and Sound & Rarr; Power Options, then click & ldquo; change plan settings & rdquo;

open & ldquo; change advanced power settings & rdquo;

Check that "mixed sleep" is not being turned on. If you open, close it

Sure enough, I have here is & ldquo; open & rdquo; of.

is set to & ldquo; Close & rdquo; later, then point & ldquo; determining & rdquo; button.

Let's go and see, this "sleep" button should come out.

Let the "Hibernate" button disappear

It can also be guessed from that command, that is, change on to off:

powercfg.exe /hibernate on

Sleep, Hibernate, Hybrid Sleep Concept

Sleep: Cut off power to other devices except memory, and the data is still in memory. A small amount of battery is needed to maintain the memory power. Once the power is turned off, the data in the memory is lost, and the next time the power is turned on, it is restarted.

Hibernate: Write memory data to the hard disk and then cut off power to all devices. No longer need a power supply.

Hybird Sleep: Writes memory data to the hard disk and then cuts off power to all devices except memory. It avoids the loss of data in the memory once the power is turned off. The next time you turn it on, it is recovered from hibernation.
