Windows 7 can't see the simplest solution for the camera.

Users who go directly from Windows XP to Windows 7 will find that the camera icon that can be seen in XP is not visible in Windows 7. Although the icon is not visible in the resource manager and does not affect the user's use of IM software such as QQ and MSN for video chat, many users still feel "not used to". Some users think that the Windows 7 system itself is caused by a problem, this is not the case.

For this problem, a common solution on the web is to solve it through third-party software. But there is actually a simpler way:

to generate a shortcut to the camera, then copy this shortcut to "X:user\\username\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Network Shortcuts" ( X is the directory of the system where Windows 7 is located.

Tip: Why can't I see the camera icon in Windows 7?

The camera icon is not visible in Windows 7, because of the "Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)" service in the system, which no longer provides a camera icon in the Explorer.

Compared to installing third-party software, it is obviously easier to copy shortcuts directly to the appropriate directory.
