WAN miniport (network monitor) appears yellow exclamation solution

  
After installing the WIN8 machine, after the system update, the WAN miniport (network monitor) in the device manager will have a yellow exclamation mark, which affects the normal network function, as shown in the following figure. Show:

Once this happens, you can temporarily delete this item in the following ways.
1 Press the Windows key and the R key at the same time, enter REGEDIT, and click OK to open the Registry Editor. (Warning: “Registry Editor” may cause serious problems and may require reinstallation of the operating system. It is recommended to back up the registry in advance, and back up important computer data before operation to avoid accidents that may not enter the system during operation. Computer Data)

2 Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlClass{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
There will be several sub-items with four digits as shown below

3 Please find each item item by item and find the item on the right side of the "DriverDesc" value data is "WAN miniport (network monitor)". Note that there may be more than one. (Be careful to find out carefully and accurately. If you modify the normal project, it may affect the normal network connection.)

4 Change the value of the “Characteristics” value in each found sub-item from 29 to 9. Record the modified four-digit project name. Restore the settings after the operation is completed.

5Open the device manager again, right click on the "wan miniport" project and select Uninstall.

6 Return to the registry and restore the previously modified project to 29. Complete the operation.
