Every day using the Windows operating system will leave some application cache in the system. If it is not cleaned up in time, it will take up part of the system memory for a long time, which will further affect the running speed of the system. How to clean up these application caches under win8 system?
Win8 system application cache directory and settings directory is saved in the user folder, the default path is C:\\Users\\[account name]\\AppData\\Local\\Packages, the system variable is %LocalAppData%\\Packages, the application cache is corresponding Under the AC folder of the subdirectory of the Win8 application directory, there are generally three folders: INetINetCookies, INetCache, and History. These three are also to be cleaned up.
Remember: Packages and subdirectory files cannot be deleted! ! ! Once you delete other files that are not cached, all applications will flash back, you can only re-create new accounts or reinstall the system!
1. The cache folder is system protected. To check, you must uncheck the “Hide Protected Operating System Files” check box. The specific operations are as follows:
Ribbon Menu View 》Options 》 View 》 [Uncheck] Hide protected operating system files & [Check] Show hidden files, then you can see the cache folder.

2. Everything goes well, then you can view the cache folder in the AC subdirectory of the application directory

3. Of course, for easy deletion, you can search for the Iet directly in the Packages directory, then Select all, delete it, this can be deleted without any scruples.
