How to install and uninstall language packs in Windows 8

  
1. Under the system, press and hold the “Windows Logo” button and the “X” button on the keyboard at the same time. In the system tool shortcut entry, open the “Control Panel”;

2. Under Language and Regions, select and open “Add Language>;

3, select “Add Language>;

4. Take English as an example, select “ English & rdquo;, double-click;

5, select “ English (United States) & rdquo;, choose American English;

6, select "ldquo; in the back of English" option & rdquo;;

7. Click on “Options  After entering this page, click “Download and install the language pack” to download. As shown below:

8, English (United States) is downloading, as shown below:

9, after the download is completed, it will be automatically installed. When prompted to complete the installation, click “Close”. After restarting the computer, it will take effect;

10. After downloading and installing the language setting interface, click the “Options” option on the right side of the English language to set the default language or uninstall the language;

11. Click the menu on the right side of the language <;Options" to set the language to the system language or uninstall the language pack. As shown below:

12. If the above picture is selected, "Set the language as long as the language", you will be prompted to log out, the language can be applied after logging out;

13. The following figure shows the system setting interface after setting English as the default language;

14. If you select “Uninstall Language Pack” in the language setting interface, you can see the uninstall interface as shown below;

15. After uninstalling, select “restart now”
