Add a shadow to the Win8 start screen icon:
First look at the effect comparison chart! The left icon adds the obvious visibility and aesthetics beyond the shadowless icon!

1, first open the start interface Press win+PrtScr key combination screenshot (screenshot will be automatically saved in the photo gallery “screenshot” folder.

2, open the screenshot with PS, then create a blank layer, select &ldquo ; Rectangular marquee tool & rdquo; size is set to 120 * 120 pixels filled with white.

3, then a square is completed. Then move the white square to the position of the application icon on the screenshot Then copy the white square layer to another application and copy it in turn, as shown in the figure.

4, all add a white group to all the white squares. Figure (for easy operation)

5, the next step is to add a shadow, and in the New group 1 right-click to select & ldquo; Blending options & rdquo; select & ldquo; projection


6, the degree of filling of group 1 0%, then you do the shadow!


7, the last is to add your favorite back Wallpaper! Choose a clear and clean wallpaper and put it under the group 1 and save it as a picture.

8, you can use a third-party background tool (for example, Rubik's landscaping is good) just do a good job on the picture and you're done!
