What should I do if my Win8 system becomes a Windows To Go environment?

Windows 8 offers a new Windows To Go feature that allows us to move the system from hard drive to mobile storage for the purpose of using our work environment anytime, anywhere. However, in some specific cases, we will encounter the problem of using a normal system to become a Windows To Go environment, resulting in the inability to use the corresponding Windows applications and stores. This article will solve this problem.
Windows To Go is a fully managed enterprise Windows 8 desktop that runs on a bootable external USB Stick. It enables IT organizations to support the “Bring Your Own PC” trend, enabling companies to allow conditional employees to access the corporate environment without compromising security. See http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/enterprise/products-and-technologies/windows-8/enterprise-edition.aspx#bk_wintogo
Windows To Go is in Windows 8 Enterprise Edition ( Provided in a 90-day free trial), in simple terms, you can take your own Windows work environment with you.
The problem I encountered before was the author's system Crash, and finally fixed through various methods, you can enter the system, but when you open the application, you will encounter some problems, such as the error in minesweeping

I am prompted to enter the store, and after entering the store, I will be prompted to be in the Windows To Go environment, not using the store. I want to adjust this option in the control panel, but I have encountered such a prompt:

Every time the upgrade says to close the current Workspace to adjust the setting, it is not the shutdown and … … and then boot it still … …
There is a more magical feature. The author uses Microsoft's official Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to put the image into the U disk, and then use it to start the system. If it starts, it will enter directly instead of prompting. I fixed the computer (no installation interface). And after entering directly, it is a normal working interface, not a Windows To Go environment. Once the U disk is unplugged, the system crashes, so at that time the system considers the U disk to be a "true" system disk. The author then used the U disk as a boot tool, and the original boot function was gone, so I needed to find a cure.
Workaround

first use Win + R to open the run box, enter regedit to open the registry

In the open registry to find the item: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControl

Here you will find a DWORD item, The name is PortableOperatingSystem, the value is 1, and the item is deleted (or the value is set to 0) to restart.
Because I have already re-doed the U disk before, I don't know how many times, EFI and MBR have been made, so the post clearly shows that all the partitions are ignored.
Note: Before the author restarts Inserted a USB flash drive and an eSATA external hard drive. When the drive is turned off, the hard drive indicator is on (there is always a read and write operation), but the U-disk indicator is not flashing (ie no data is passed) and the eSATA hard drive is not ringing (should also have no data) Therefore, it should be what is done on the local hard disk. This process lasted for 3 to 5 minutes. Since the SSD is used as the system disk, the data volume of 3 to 5 minutes should be around 15G. After the indicator light is off, the system still does not shut down, and finally the method of strong shutoff is adopted.
You will return to the normal state after booting up. Of course, you should pay attention to those applications before, such as the Maps application in the figure below, there is a small fork

You will be prompted to apply after clicking Store to view relevant information:

In the store, you will be prompted to fix the application, click on the repair, there will be a system prompt after the repair is completed:

You can then use the application again. !
It is observed that Windows To Go affected applications are: mail, calendar, contacts, pictures, maps, messages, Xbox games, etc. that are associated with your Microsoft account.
