What is a library? A library is a collection of all documents, music, pictures, and other files that can be accessed from one location. In some ways, libraries are similar to folders: you can use libraries to browse and sort files. But unlike folders, libraries can collect files stored in multiple locations. This is a subtle but important difference. The library does not actually store the project. They perform push operations from the folder containing the project and allow you to access and arrange the projects in different ways. For example, if you have music files in folders on your computer and on an external drive, you can access all your music files simultaneously from your music library.
How do I create or change a library?
Windows has four default libraries: documents, music, pictures, and videos. You can also create a new library. To create a new library:
Open "Explorer" by swiping from the right edge of the screen to the middle and clicking "Search" (If you use the mouse, point to the top right corner of the screen, then Move the pointer down, click "search"), type "explorer" in the search box, and then click or click "App" and "Explorer".< Br> In the navigation pane, click or click "Library".

What happens if you delete items in the library or library?

What types of locations are supported in the library?
Folders from many different locations can be included in the library, such as C drives, external drives, or networks.

Folders are stored on other drives on your computer and can be included in the library.

Why do I receive a message stating that I can't include a location because the location is not indexed?
This means that the folder is not on the device where the folder is stored Indexing. The easiest way to index the folder to include it in the library is to make the folder available offline. When you set a network folder to be available offline, a copy of all the files in that folder will be stored on your computer, and these files will be added to the search index on your computer.
If the network folder contains a large number of files and you don't want to save a copy of them on your computer, you can still add the folder to a library.
Why do I receive a message stating that some library features are not available due to unsupported library locations?
When you use an app to add unindexed folders (such as network folders) to the library You may receive such a message. Searching, sorting, and filtering in the library will be slow. To speed up the execution of these tasks, remove the location from the library. If it's important for you to keep this folder in the library, you can create a new library for that folder separately, which will not slow down the search, sorting, and filtering in any other library location.
